Fashion has become a big part of my life for a little over 6 years. I participated in the CMU Threads Fashion Show and it took off from there. I began doing freelance fashion show production and model coordinating around michigan for various fashion shows and production companies that i connected with.
Central Michigan University:
Threads Fashion Show
A student ran fashion show on the Central Michigan University campus, overseen by a Fashion, Merchandising, & Design (FMD) Faculty member, along with 2-3 Student Producers & 8 Student Committee Directors. Students sign up for the Threads Production class and are placed into one of the 8 Committees based on their major, past experience, and fashion show interests. The show is 100% student ran and incorporates a vareity of majors, such as; fashion, art/graphic/interior design, event planning, hospitality, business, music production, and many others.
I participated as the Model Management Director for 3 years, 14' - 16', & modeled 12', 13', and 14'. As the Model Director I was responsible for scheduling/planning Model Casting Calls, Walking In Heels Workshops, Run Through/Show Day of show weekend. I kept weekly contact with 400+ models all compiled in a model database of models who attended a casting call, workshop, or participated in past shows.
Presence ii Production
PiiP is an Event & PR company out of Detroit that has it's hands in a variety of industries including, but not limited to; fashion show production, business collaboration, event design, PR, and various social platforms.
While freelance working with PiiP I produced 3 fashion shows, held multiple model castings, built a model database with more than 300 models along with a volunteer database with over 200 volunteers. While producing shows I appointed volunteers to various duties throughout each show, I was responsible for keeping event schedules on time and keeping models on schedule.
